Fansite Links: due to the rapidly growing number of Furby fansites, I've decided not to
attempt to personally link to each and every one of you. Besides, that's what the webring is for,
right? If you're interested in seeing a list of all the webring
members, you know what to do.
Furby Flock: the Furby Webring is up and running! If you run a Furby-dedicated website to which
you'd like to increase traffic and awareness, then why not join the flock? Listed below is a short
submission form for requesting your website be added to the ring. A coupla rules and regulations
before we go any further, tho:
- Your website must be Furby-related! Don't bother attempting to join if your page is about
windsurfing, or beekeeping, or music composition. And yes, this does need to be said -
you'd be surprised by some of the entries!
- Do not submit your website until there is a website to submit! If you're planning on designing a
Furby site, then wait before registering for the webring until you have something up on the site
for us to see. I'm rather lenient about this rule (heck, there isn't much info on my own page!), but at
least unload a placeholder. If you submit a page and there is nothing there when I check, I'm forced to
remove the submission from the queue.
- Purely commercial sites need not apply. If the only purpose your site serves is the selling or
auctioning or Furbys, then you need to promote the site in a commercial manner. Buy adspace on
websites and such, but you'll not abuse the flock.
- The HTML Fragment below needs to be displayed on each and every website belonging to the
Furby Flock, and it needs to be set up properly. I've noticed several "_YOURNAMEHERE_" fragments
over the last few weeks, and these errors need to be fixed. If you are having trouble with setting it
up, just contact me and I'll help out as much as
possible. However, to be honest, if you're having trouble with the HTML fragment then you probably
don't know enuf HTML to be doing a website in the first place!
- Be sure to include the proper URL for your website! If I cannot visit the site the check it out, I can't
add it to the ring!
