Everyone loves a contest, right? Then head on on over to www.game.com and play Tiger's new Get Web Linked Sweepstakes! Here's a list of the prizes:

To play, all you need do is visit the Tiger website and try out this nifty little java applet that simulates those "scratch n win" tickets that state lotteries are so fond of. Given this and Tiger Casino, you'd almost think that Tiger has a fondness for gambling :) Anyway, play the game and try to fetch some goodies. It must not be too difficult, as I already won (a keychain game. oh well.) from playing just a few moments ago! Better hurry, as the contest only runs from Nov 1st 'til Nov 30th, and there are only 1850 prizes to go around. BTW, the contest page lists Nov 30th 1999 as the cutoff date, but according to the contest rules the date is the more understandable 1998.

  1. No purchase necessary. Sweepstakes open to legal U.S. residents who have an active e-mail address as of 11/1/98. Sweepstakes starts 11/1/98 and ends 11/30/98. Before entering the Sweepstakes or submitting any personally identifiable information, minors must obtain permission from a Parent or Legal Guardian. Employees and the families of employees of Tiger Electronics, Ltd., its affiliated companies and subsidiaries, distributors, retailers, and advertising, technology and promotion agencies, are not eligible to participate.
  2. To play: Use your computer mouse to scratch off the instant winner area on the "Get Web Linked" Sweepstakes banner found at www.tigertoys.com and other participating sites. If the revealed message says "You Win!" you have won that specified prize instantly. Odds of winning are 1:1,401. If you are not an instant winner, you can play again by visiting www.tigertoys.com no more than once every 24-hour period through 11/30/98. Only one entry per day allowed per person or e-mail address.
  3. To claim your prize: Click on the link to claim your prize, complete the Prize Claim form, print out two copies and press the submit button to register your prize claim electronically. You must claim your prize electronically within 12 hours of notification or your prize will be awarded to an alternate winner. Then, keep a printout for your records and send the second copy to: Tiger "Get Web Linked" Sweepstakes Instant Winner, c/o DKA, 600 Central Ave., Suite 333, Highland Park, IL 60035-3255. If you do not have a printer, save a copy of your winning banner image on a floppy disk and submit it in lieu of a hard copy. You must send your prize claim via Certified Mail, Return Receipt Requested. Limit one winning entry per person, household or organization. Multiple winning entries will be disqualified. All claims are subject to verification by David Kessler & Associates, Inc., an independent judging agency whose decisions are final on all matters pertaining to this Sweepstakes. We will send confirmation of your prize award by e-mail or mail within 15 days of receipt of your Prize Claim and verification of your winning entry. Unclaimed prizes will not be awarded.
  4. For a free chance to play without a computer, send a 3 X 5 index card with your name, address, telephone number and e-mail address in a stamped, self-addressed, #10 business size envelope by 11/30/98 to Tiger "Chance to Win Instantly" Game Card, P.O. Box 1216, Highland Park, IL 60035-7216. Residents of AL, VT and WA only may omit postage on return envelope. Limit 1 free game play request per person, per e-mail address, per day. An independent judge will scratch off the instant winner game banner for each request. Only winners will be notified of the results.
  5. Sponsor not responsible for mail or electronic transmissions that are lost, late, stolen, mutilated, incomplete, illegible, damaged, garbled, destroyed, delayed, misdirected or postage-due. Sponsor also not responsible for any problems or technical malfunctions, errors, omissions, interruptions, deletions, defects, delays in operation or transmission, communication failures, destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries. Incomplete, non-conforming or illegible entries will be disqualified.   8. Winners will be notified by mail or e-mail upon verification of winning entry. All winners, or the Parent or Legal Guardian of winners under the age of 18 as of 11/30/98, who win prizes may be required to execute and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability and Publicity Release within 15 days of notification or the prize will be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner. Prizes are not transferable; no substitutions or cash redemptions allowed. All taxes are the sole responsibility of each prize winner.
  9. By accepting prizes, winners agree that Tiger Electronics, Ltd., its affiliated companies and subsidiaries, Freestyle Software, Inc., David Kessler & Associates, Inc., their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, officers, directors, employees and retailers shall have no liability in connection with the acceptance or use of the prizes awarded. Except for the limited warranty extended by Tiger Electronics, Ltd. in connection with the prizes, winners further acknowledge that said parties have neither made, nor are in any manner responsible or liable for, any warranty, representation or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to any prize including, but not limited to, its quality, mechanical condition or fitness for a particular purpose.
