At one time, this section housed the COMPENDIUM's own java-based chatroom. Due to difficulties in keeping out unruly members, the chatroom is down and will remained closed until such a time as I locate a controllable chatroom environment. IRC is a possibility, but I consider it a remote one given that IRC setup (despite being rather simplistic, IMO) does tend to scare off the more timid chatters. The prefered option would be to have a webpage-based solution that is very easy to join, yet gives the moderator full control. Be patient :)

ICQ COMCHAT

My original chat solution for SUgcH, I established an ICQ chatline dedicated to the miracle that is the Com. If you're familiar with ICQ, this chatline is simply an alias that I use for Com-related discussion. The above menubar can guide you in the right direction.

If your server does not display agvtg-c, drop your ISP a note and demand this newsgroup be added to your server!
