This spell creates an shadowy cloud of fog with several special properties. The fog cloud is similar to a Cloudkill fog, measuring 40' wide, 20' deep, 20' wide, moving away from the caster at 10'/round. This dark cloud moans and groans as it travels forward, equal to the effect of an Audible Glamor (4 voices/caster level). Creatures entering the mist are confronted with phantasmal images of their greatest dreads and fears. Those failing a saving throw vs spells are affected as by spell effect Emotion: hopelessness. The victims will 25% likely to collapse and do nothing, or 25% likely to flee as per a Fear effect. Victims suffering this hopelessness tend to become rather docile, and will generally obey any simple commands given them while unthinking from their grief. If a Wis/Willpower check (at -2) is made, the victim is less docile, but suffers a -2 penalty towards attack rolls, saving throws, ability checks, and AC. Creatures within the mist must make their Wis/Willpower check (at -2) each round or be overwhelmed by the phantasmal images.

There is no saving throw versus the hearing and vision-obscuring nature of the dark cloud itself. Dispel Magic or similar magicks may negate this spell.
