This power allows the psionicist to create what is known as a Wild Child. Thru use of this power, the psionicist gives form to his pent-up chaotic urges and desires, producing the Wild Child: a purely carnal creature. See the Wild Child Monstrous Manual writeup for more information about this creature.

This release leaves the psionicist emotionless and coldly logical. While maintaining this power, the psionicist is immune to any mental tamperings that control or alter emotion - there simply are no emotions to be manipulated while the wild child is separated from the psionicist. This includes such effects as Friends, Emotion, Fear, Chaos, and similar spells, as well as psionic powers such as Phobia Amplification, Attraction, and similar powers. However, the logical focus of the psionicist makes him automatically susceptible to manipulations involving lawful or orderly thoughts, such as the priestly sphere of Law.

The Wild Child is a savage beast, of little more than animal intelligence, that relies upon pure instinct and primal emotion. The psionicist has no direct control of the wild child, altho the creature will behave somewhat similarly as the psionicist since it possesses some of his memory and all of his emotions. Enemies of the psionicist will likely be attacked, fears of the psionicist will be avoided, and desires of the psionicist will be sought.

If the wild child is slain, the psionicist is stunned for 1d3 rounds as pure emotion comes flooding back into his consciousness. The wild child fades away upon ceasing to maintain the power, as well as if the psionicist is killed (except in rare circumstances).
