Thru use of this power, the psionicist gains various information about a person shown in a portrait. A "portrait" is loosely defined as a painting, sculpture, or similar visual representation of a person. By studying the portrait and activating this power, the psionicist can learn the subject's name, age, occupation, class, level, etc. An important note is that the power presents this information as it was at the time the portrait was created - the subject might have significantly changed in the time since.

The amount and level of detail of information is based upon the success of the Power Check. If successful, the psionicist learns the information listed beside that result in the table below, plus all information above it:

A portrait can be read only once per experience level of the psionicist; additional readings at the present level reveal no information.
